Doodle for International Mother Language Day designed by member of bdcomcn

Our community member Md Faysal Bari designed a nice doodle on the occasion of coming International Mother Language Day, 21st February and we are all hoping to see that on google.com.bd homepage.

 

International Mother Language Day, its history dates back to 1952. There had been love and sentiment for native language, urge to protect her survival, blood shade, sacrifice and so much more behind this. It might be the Language, with few other human qualities that drew a clear boundary between men and animal. And we, Bangladeshi, are the first nation to fight for their own language and won! This is one of the few things we really feel proud of. 21st February, UNESCO-declared "International Mother Language Day" makes is all official.

 

Dr. Dipu Moni's official visit to China

dipu-moni-smallDr. Dipu Moni, Foreign minister of Bangladesh, was in an official visit to China for 8 days, started from 16th June 2011. During her sojourn , she met with Xi Chin Ping, vice president of China . Xi Chin Ping said that by the united effort of Bangladesh and China, they are willing to add a new dimension to the mutual relation between two countries. He also said, "Bangladesh and China are close neighboring countries, whose diplomatic relationship has steadily been flourishing since last 36 years".

Bangladesh Ambassador to the China Munshi Faiz Ahmad, Foreign Secretary Mijarul Quayes, people from the Bangladesh Community were also present in the inauguration program.

Bangladesh Embassy in Beijing has celebrated 40th Anniversary of Independence and National Day of Bangladesh on 26 March 2011.

A reception was hosted at the Beijing Marriott North East Hotel on 29th March 2011 for the event during which Chinese Vice foreign minister Li Jin Zhang, diplomats and other guests were also present. During the reception, the Bangladeshi ambassador Munshi Faiz Ahmad praised the fact that the partnership between China and Bangladesh has become closer over time.
