World’s longest high speed rail line opens in China on Wednesday 26 December, 2012. A giant 2,298-kilometre line which connects Beijing to Guangzhou and it will cut down travel time from 20 hours to 8 hours due to the rapid 300km/s speed. The route connects five provinces and has 35 stops in major cities, including Shijiazhuang, Zhengzhou, Wuhan and Changsha.
